Brilliant Public School was started in the year 2001 by Brilliant Public School Society, with a vision to impart quality and value based education to children to improve the ethical standards in the field of education, to adopt a futuristic approach to promote traditional values amongst the younger generation. "Guru" can be roughly translated as darkness to light, or possibly one who leads from darkness to light. The Guru is a teacher who guides the Shishya's (student's) life or a spiritual mentor who leads the shishya from blindness or ignorance to bliss, wisdom and enlightenment. "GU" means dark and "Ru" means light.
